Dear Parent,

My name is Keith Brookshire and I have owned and Operated Keith Photography in Calhoun for 10 years. My clients really do tell me all the time how disappointed they have been with their child’s school pictures. A few years ago I had one of those “eureka moments” when I thought – Hey, I can do better than school pictures. After all that’s what I do all day every day.

Finally, I’ve decided to act on the thought of providing “Better-Than-School-Pictures” at school picture prices.

·        Drop by the studio during the times listed above (no appointment necessary) with your school-aged child dressed and ready to be photographed. We’re located next to Domino’s Pizza in the Piggly Wiggly shopping Center on Red Bud Rd.

·        We’ll make sure your child’s hair is right and their face is clean.

·        We’ll choose an appropriate background that goes with whatever your child is wearing.

·        We’ll take 5-6 portraits of your child that you will choose from right away.

·        You’ll view your portraits, place your order (school picture prices), and pay before you leave the studio.

·        You may order one package or multiple packages.

·        Your portraits will be mailed to you in about two weeks.

·        The whole thing should take only about ten minutes.

There Are a Few Rules Though and They're Simple Too

·        This special is for school-aged children only – Pre-K through 11^th grade.

·        One outfit only – no clothes changes.

·        One subject only per photo – no siblings, pets or friends can be included.

·        Background and pose selection is solely the choice of the photographer.

·        Orders from these “school pictures” must be placed and paid for at the time of the session. We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Heck, I’ll even take a post-dated check.

·        “School Picture” pricing is ONLY available at the time your child’s portraits are made.

You might ask How in the world I can offer these portraits so much cheaper than my regular prices. In fact I thought about it for a long, long time before deciding to try this.

A session in my studio usually lasts an hour and includes a few backgrounds and clothes changes. You would have a LOT of portraits to choose from. From the time you phone to schedule your session to the time you pick up your final order my staff and I often have two – three hours of work involved on just one session, sometimes more.

My math tells me that we can do this Better-Than-School-pictures thing, do a good job at it and have a total of about 15 - 20 minutes involved. That includes making the portraits, helping you select your pose or poses, taking payment, sending to the lab, checking the order for accuracy when it returns from the lab, and mailing it.

That’s a LOT to do in just 15 minutes but if we can pull it off and if the volume is there we’ll offer this in Spring and Fall just like regular school pictures. If not I probably won’t repeat this offer.  This Better-Than-School-Pictures project depends on volume so TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
